ABOUT:

Kathleen Dever (Allied Member of the American Association of Interior Designers) has been the principal designer at Design Studio for over 40 years.  A Vermont native, she grew up skiing with her family in Stowe and was a member of the Mount Mansfield Ski Club and a ski instructor at the Mountain after graduating from the University of Vermont. Kathy’s deep connection to Stowe makes her intimately familiar with the various types of properties and homes available in our community.  

In addition to her knowledge of Stowe properties, Kathy maintains long standing connections with major national furniture manufacturers, as well as local connections with tradespeople of all types. This enables Design Studio to offer our clients a wide selection of custom furnishing, lighting, area rugs, fabric, shades and blinds.  

Kathy’s client-first approach to design takes into account the needs of the client as well as those of the space.  This enables her to create versatile spaces with a timeless feel.  Kathy’s skill at masterful and purposeful planning means that all spaces can be functional and beautiful.
